Join us for a delicious family-style lunch, an inspirational presentation, as well as discussion and networking with men and women from around the DMV!
At the lunch, Samuel Moore-Sobel will describe his unexpected journey with trauma, burns and recovery and how that has affected his personal, professional and spiritual life today. He will also share how the scars we all experience can point the way to a relationship with God.

About the Speaker
Samuel Moore-Sobel is an author, speaker and columnist. His debut memoir, Can You See My Scars? recounts his harrowing encounter with sulfuric acid, trauma and severe burns. His book is available for purchase on Amazon.
He is currently a senior manager of technology at Capital One Bank, where he leads the project management office within the enterprise data organization. Previously, he was the Global Cloud Security Program Management Lead at Amazon Web Services, where he led a team of program managers and established the first ever project management office within the Security Operations organization.
